These are the plain rules for using The Tool Signal and the social accounts that belong to it. They are short on purpose. If something here is unclear, write to us and we will fix the wording.

What this site is

The Tool Signal publishes reviews, comparisons and guides about AI tools for small businesses and solo operators. There are no accounts, no logins and nothing to buy on this site. Reading it is free.

Our social accounts

The same author runs the Facebook Page "AI for Small Business", the Instagram account @smallbizaiops and our other social profiles. Posts there are prepared with the help of software tools, including our own app, and are published only to accounts we own. The app does not post on anyone else's behalf and does not read other people's profiles or messages.

Information, not professional advice

We test tools and check facts before we publish, and we say so when a claim comes from a vendor rather than from our own test. Prices, plans and features change often, so check the vendor's own page before you pay. Nothing here is legal, financial or tax advice. You decide what to buy and how to use it.

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. A commission never changes which tool we recommend. The details are on our Privacy page.

Links to other sites

We link to sources and to the tools we review. Those sites have their own terms and privacy rules, and we are not responsible for what they do.

Using our content

You are welcome to quote a short part of an article with a link back to the original page. Please do not copy whole articles or images and publish them as your own.

Your data

What we collect and why is described on the Privacy page. You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you.

Changes

If these terms change, this page changes first and the date at the top changes with it.
